Description
A refreshing, slushy frozen strawberry lemonade made with just four simple ingredients: fresh strawberries, lemon juice, sweetener, and ice. This quick recipe balances tartness and sweetness for a perfect summer drink.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled
- 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice (from 4–6 lemons)
- 2–3 tablespoons honey, agave, or simple syrup
- 1–1.5 cups ice cubes
Instructions
- Wash strawberries thoroughly, remove green tops, and hull them. Place in the blender bowl.
- Cut lemons in half and squeeze juice through a fine-mesh strainer to catch seeds. Pour about 1/2 cup of juice into the blender.
- Drizzle in honey or agave syrup. Taste and adjust sweetness if necessary before blending.
- Add 1 cup of ice cubes to the blender.
- Secure the lid and blend on high speed for 30-60 seconds until completely smooth. Scrape down sides if needed.
- Pour into glasses immediately and garnish with a strawberry slice or mint sprig. Serve right away.
Notes
Use ripe, sweet strawberries for the best flavor. If using frozen strawberries, you may need less ice. For a party, blend in batches to avoid overloading the blender. The drink melts quickly, so serve immediately. For a vegan version, substitute honey with agave or maple syrup.
